Techno-Economic Analysis of Fluidized Bed Combustion of a Mixed Fuel from Sewage and Paper Mill Sludge

The treatment and disposal of sewage sludge is one the most important critical issues wastewater plants. One option for liquidation production fuel in form pellets from mixed paper mill sludge. This study presents results combustion pelletized fuels, namely sludge, their 2:1 4:1 blends a fluidized bed combustor. flue gas was analysed after reaching steady state at temperatures 700–800 °C. Commonly used cleaning still necessary, especially SO2; therefore, it worth mentioning that addition reduced mercury concentration to limits acceptable EU countries. analysis ash showed magnesium, potassium, calcium, chromium, copper, zinc, arsenic, lead remained mostly combustion, while all cadmium fuels transferred into together with substantial part chlorine mercury. containing both can be as an environmentally friendly alternative fluidised combustion. levelized cost this same current price level lignite.
